The social media company made the announcement Tuesday, revealing a slew of new tools and experiences aimed at helping creators expand their audiences.
"We are committed to helping creators connect with their fans and build their businesses, because they have some of the strongest communities and share some of the most engaging and creative content," Facebook said in a statement.
Partners, including Insider, BuzzFeed and Fresno, can now add polls, quizzes and challenges to live and on-demand videos. Those brands will also be able to upload entire game show series.
Insider is launching a game called Confetti, an interactive pop culture trivia show that will air daily. Outside Your Bubble by BuzzFeed is another. It will challenge players to guess what others “across the cultural divide” are thinking, and What’s In The Box by Fresno will allow users to guess what’s inside a closed box. Cash prizes are currently only offered for Confetti.
In addition to the game shows, Facebook is also adding more content to Watch, its video on-demand service. It’s also rolling out more Top Fans, which highlights a creator’s top fans by displaying a badge by their names.
