Walgreens is pulling some wrapping paper from its shelves after a California woman complained about finding swastikas in the paper's pattern.
Cheryl Shapiro said she was shopping in the Hanukkah section of Walgreens when she came across the item.
"I had no idea what to do," Shapiro told KNBC in Los Angeles. "I was really putting my foot down because I was appalled by this."
After Shapiro complained to managers, the paper was removed from shelves. Company spokesperson Phil Caruso said, “We are in the process of removing the product from our stores."
Caruso added he didn’t know how many rolls there were.
