MARTA bus service was restored after riders earlier had a 15-minute delay in service, according to the transit service.

A group of #ATLisREADY supporters gathered briefly in downtown Atlanta this afternoon, pushing MARTA service back during the rush-hour commute, spokeswoman Alisa T. Jackson said. The protest group was trying to bring awareness to homelessness and inequity.

Jackson said train service was not affected by the protest.
