Chris Christie is the governor of New Jersey, elected first in 2010 and again in 2014.  Prior to that, he was U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey from 2002 to 2008.

John Kasich is the governor of Ohio and former congressman. He defeated Democratic Gov. Ted Strickland in 2010 and was reelected in 2014.
