A big voter registration backlog ahead of Georgia’s 6th District runoff

A backlog of tens of thousands of voter registration applications is facing local elections officials ahead of next month's runoff in Georgia's 6th Congressional District.

The need to process them comes after a federal judge last week ordered registration reopened until May 21 ahead of the June 20 election.

And it has left the three counties in the 6th District scrambling.
