An 11-year-old boy from Seattle is safe after a rescue at a ski resort chairlift Tuesday.
The boy apparently slipped off his chair at the Whistler Ski Resort in British Columbia and got hung up when he bent down to grab his ski pole.
A resort worker and onlookers unfurled a tarp, which caught the boy safely as he dropped 30 feet.
A witness who took video of the incident said the boy was back up on his feet in a few seconds and seemed fine.
