Posting a photo of a decree absolute -- a legal document that ends marriage in the  U.K. -- the 42-year-old mother of three wrote, "Myself & my Dignity would like to announce to the world, our beautiful, healthy, newborn Freedom.

“Opened today at 11am, weighing 0.40lb I can honestly say I’ve never felt a love like it.”

According to Metro, Le Pinnet had been married for five years but was with her ex for 15 years. The paper claims she separated from her ex seven years ago and battled breast cancer for 18 months.

"You've got to find your own funny," Le Pinnet told Metro. "I've seen loads of people lately having babies and getting engaged and being happy. I just thought, 'I am happy and I don't want to slag him off. It's done and it's in the past now.'"

“The divorce is like a baby. I’ve got my baby. I just thought it would be funny if I put it on (in the same way). “When I first opened it, I just felt relief, and was kind of sad. It was a big chunk of my life – it was 15 years. It’s a big chunk of your life so I just felt a little bit reflective.”

Le Pinnet said she was never called princess, so she gave the decree that name.

“It’s me that’s looking after me now so guess what, yeah I am,” she said. “I’m going to look after myself.”
