“I can put it on my resume’ that I helped deliver a stingray,” Calvin Conger beamed.

Conger, along with his father and girlfriend were fishing near Punta Gorda Isles, Florida when they caught a small stingray.

“We put it on the filleting table,” he said. “Because we were going to use it for bait.

However, before the knife was put to use, the three noticed something unusual.

“There was another stinger hanging out,” he explained.

Calvin’s dad gently pressed on the ray's stomach and out popped a baby.

“Oh my God, it’s adorable,” his girlfriend screamed.

A few minutes later a second tail was seen and again, a newborn ray appeared.

Conger told HLN after putting the babies in the water, they also let mom go.

“Yeah, we let it go. We wouldn’t kill the mom,” he smiled.
