After days of headlines exposing Rachel Dolezal as an apparent white woman masquerading as a black woman even while she led the local NAACP chapter in Spokane, Wash., it is uncomfortable to watch her on video, discussing what it's like to be a black woman.
But she does exactly that, in depth and on and on, in an interview conducted by a college student last year. (Source: TheRoot.com)
Eastern Washington University student Lauren Campbell posted the unedited interview in five parts online.
In the videos, Dolezal rambles on about her experiences as a black woman, although it’s now know her identity as a black woman was apparently not based on her genetic background.
Near the end of the interview, at the 5-minute mark in the Part 5 - YouTube video, Dolezal talks about a class where students were discussing how to pronounce "Nigeria." She marvels that some of the students insisted on pronouncing the country name like the n-word.
