TJ, the resident cat at Metro Animal Emergency Clinic in Nova Scotia, has seen his fair share of animals. But clearly, the gray and white cat had never seen a snake before.
In a video clip posted on social media on June 20, Lindsay MacKenzie wrote, "Clinic resident cat TJ is unsure about the snake."
The cat can be seen standing on its hind legs with a shocked expression on its face as it tries to get a better look at the snake slithering on an exam table.
The video has been viewed over 1 million times on Facebook.
TJ has his own Instagram account. A photo posted Friday shows TJ napping in a basket at the clinic, apparently not traumatized by his encounter with the reptile.
