To pay for a southern border wall with Mexico, President Donald Trump is considering a 20 percent tax on Mexican imports. But what does that mean about our favorite foods?

Avocados aren’t the only foods at risk.

According to Business Insider, Mexico sent $295 billion worth of goods across the United States border in 2015, including $21 billion worth of food.

Fresh fruit and vegetables, wine and beer would all be hit hard by the tax.

Ninety-five of the U.S.’s imported tomatoes come from Mexico and more than 50 percent of its imported tequila, too.

In Georgia specifically, the tax will affect more than food. In fact, the state imported $688 million worth in "lamps and lighting fittings and parts" in 2015 alone, according to the Department of Economic Development.
