It's been well documented that the Easter Bunny can be considered a scary dude to many little kids.

Eric Linebaugh of Ontario, Canada, posted YouTube videos of his daughter’s encounters with an Easter Bunny toy at ages 7 months, 2 years and 5 years old. It’s safe to say Julianna is not a fan of the fluffy, pink bunny toy she received as a gift from her grandmother for her first Easter in 2008.
Two years later, dad pulled out the bunny again and Julianna was still not amused.
Linebaugh said he thinks what triggers Julianna’s reaction is “the loudness of the toy and the way the ears move and the egg lights up.”
When Linebaugh brought out the bunny once more in 2013, Julianna made her stand. She punched and shook the toy until his little animatronic ears stopped moving.
“She doesn't seem to be too afraid of it anymore now that she has broken the ears,” Linebaugh said.
Julianna has had multiple encounters with the "real" Easter Bunny with no issues, Linebaugh said. However, when she was 2 years old, Linebaugh said Julianna had a stressful encounter with an animatronic Winnie-the-Pooh doll.
But the good news for Linebaugh, who has YouTube accounts under CerebralAssassin1977 and ericlinebaugh, is that his pranks likely will not result in years of therapy for Julianna, who is now 6 years old.
“She doesn’t really hold a grudge,” he said. “She laughs when she watches these videos afterwards and gives me a hug.”
