Speculation has been swirling around Brantley Gilbert and his impending nuptials for the past week or so. Unexplained road closures around his Georgia home. Unusual openings found in his always packed touring schedule. And then, the fact that many fans at Gilbert’s show in Seattle June 27 mentioned that he had announced it was his last show as a single man.

So, we waited.

And we waited.

And on an unusually slow day within the country genre, the news finally came in.

The longtime military supporter (http://rare.us/story/try-not-to-cry-as-you-watch-this-war-veteran-give-brantley-gilbert-the-gift-of-a-lifetime/) and tattoo lover (http://rare.us/story/country-star-brantley-gilbert-shows-his-loud-and-proud-support-for-the-second-amendments-with-this-new-tattoo/) is now a married man.

PEOPLE Magazine confirms that Gilbert married his fiancée Amber Cochran at his Georgia home. And while we don’t know what music was played during their reception, there were many songs inspired by Cochran herself.

“Amber is an amazing person and has inspired a lot of my songs from ‘More Than Miles’ to ‘You Don’t Know Her Like I Do’ for the last 10 years,” the singer-songwriter told PEOPLE shortly after their engagement in October of 2014. “I’m a blessed man to have her back in my life and can’t wait to make her my wife.”

Now we sit and wonder…will they get matching tattoos?
