Neeva Goff speaks to her dog without words and he can understand exactly what she wants and needs.
Neeva, who is 4, is deaf and she talks to Baxter using sign language, ABC News reported.
First, Neeva taps Baxter on the shoulder, then tells him to sit, stay, come and even "let's go tuck you into bed."
Baxter was adopted from the humane society in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
"He's caught on really fast. He gets what is expected of him," Neeva's mother, Chelsea Goff, told ABC News.
