Markeater Holyroyd kept driving.

"The guy just was, you know, putting his middle finger up and he was trying to drive me off, you know, like cut me off," she told WRC.

She said she eventually stopped. The man, identified as Timothy Dubois, also stopped, went to her driver's side window and assaulted her, police said.

Holyroyd opened her car door, trying to push him away but, police said Dubois attacked her and bit her finger. He eventually returned to his car and drove away, WRC reported.

Police found Dubois after a witness took a photo of his license plate.

He was arrested at his home and was charged with malicious wounding, assault and battery and driving under the influence.
