There's something to be said about being a regular at your local pizza shop.
One could say it could be life-saving.
Sheriff's deputies in Marion County, Oregon are crediting a local Domino's Pizza for helping one of its customers.
Kirk Alexander has ordered a pizza almost every day for the last decade, Domino's employees told KATU.
But recently, workers realized they hadn't seen an order from Alexander for a few days. Once store general manager Sarah Fuller looked in the computer, she realized it had been almost two weeks.
She sent a delivery driver to Alexander's home to check on him. The driver could hear the TV and the lights were on. They tried calling him, but calls went right to voice mail, KATU reported.
That's when they called 911.
When deputies arrived, they could hear him calling for help and when they got inside, they realized he needed medical attention, KEZI reported.
What caused Alexander's emergency wasn't released, but he was admitted to the hospital and has been visited by employees of his favorite Domino's.
