The daughter of the mother killed at an Applebee's restaurant on Sunday came home for Christmas in a box as a surprise to her mother.

The video is on Lisa Freeman Veney's Facebook page. Action News contacted Lisa's daughter Sienna, who gave us permission to show the video.

The video from Dec. 23 shows Sienna, dressed in a military uniform, coming out from under a giant pink box. The two then embrace and smile.

"I got an early Christmas present!! My little soldier surprised me for Christmas. I couldn't have asked for a better gift than my princess," wrote Veney on her Facebook page.

Veney was killed Sunday night in a shooting inside the Applebee's on Lane Avenue. Her estranged husband is facing charges in her killing.

A family friend said Veney worked as a school bus driver.

Action News learned she previously worked at Flightstar Aircraft Services.  The company does aircraft repair, maintenance and modifications.

"Our thoughts go out to her family at this time," said Chris Johnson, the director of Human Resources at Flightstar. "We grieve with her family."
