The Pittsburgh Pirates were not exactly in distress Friday night after beating the Atlanta Braves 10-8, but Andrew McCutchen got a little help from a fan with some influence.

"Batman" actor Michael Keaton was sitting near the Braves’ dugout, and was having a pretty good game after receiving a ball from A.J. Burnett.

Burnett is such a big fan of the superhero, some even refer to him as Batman.

While spectating the game, Keaton couldn not help but notice a Braves fan giving McCutchen a hard time.

According to a tweet from a fan, McCutchen even acknowledged the fan after he hit an RBI double.

Not holding any bad feelings against the fan, McCutchen tossed him his batting gloves.

Clearly, the trash talking didn’t throw off McCutchen’s game, but Keaton jumped into being a superhero of a fan by confronting the heckler.

He concluded his visit by pointing at the scoreboard, which showed the Pirates in the lead.

Keaton may not have been in costume as Batman, but he still managed to fight a Pirates fan’s version of "the bad guys."
