Patients who suffer from seizure disorders may have another treatment available to them.
Some medical cannabis providers started selling a type of low-THC cannabis oil called "Haleigh's Hope" on Monday, WFOR reported.
It is a type of anti-seizure treatment named after Haliegh Cox, a child from Georgia who suffers from Lennon-Gastaut syndrome.
Haliegh had suffered from hundreds of seizures a day and was being treated by five different medications, CNN reported.
That was until her parents found out about a form of medical marijuana used to treat her condition. She started a treatment of cannabis oil, four times a day and once at night.
