In one week, Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton went from being three points behind her Republican opponent, to nine points ahead, a new CNN/ORC poll shows.
Meanwhile, Republican business mogul Donald Trump saw is futures slide after the Republican and Democratic national conventions over the past two weeks. He went from 48 percent of voters choosing him to be the next president, to 43 percent.
Clinton went from 45 percent to 52 percent.

In other areas, voters’ opinions varied significantly.
When casting their ballots, people who participated in the poll said overwhelmingly (58 percent) that a vote for Clinton would be for their candidate and not a de facto vote against Trump (41 percent).
The numbers for Trump were the opposite, though within the 3.5 percent margin of error.
Forty seven percent of voters said they would cast their ballot in favor of Trump; 50 percent said they would vote for the Republican only as a vote against Clinton.
