A dispute over a broken television set led to the arrest of a Tequesta woman Thursday after she allegedly threatened her roommate with a knife and kicked her, according to an arrest report.
Allison Lee Steinborg faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill and battery. Steinborg turned 22 on Thursday, the same day she was released from the Palm Beach County Jail after posting a $4,000 bond.
According to Tequesta police, Steinborg entered the 23-year-old victim’s room with a steak knife and stabbed her bed several times while saying, “Who do you think you are messing with?”

The victim told Steinborg she was crazy and Steinborg responded by saying, “I’ll show you crazy,” and stabbed the bed again, the arrest report states. Steinborg then kicked the 23-year-old woman off the bed, causing her head to strike a night stand that resulted in a contusion.
Steinborg told police that “I flipped out” because the television was shut off and she wanted to scare the victim.
