This Florida man should have thought twice before trying to interact with a wild animal.

Braddock Baskett of the Orlando-area attempted to give some raccoons food, UPI said. After remarking that he has "never seen this many raccoons," video shows Baskett holding out a piece of food to one animal, which creeps closer.

Just as the animal makes its way to Baskett’s outstretched hand, it snips at one of his fingers — biting a substantial part of his hand.

"Strolled up on this large raccoon family and a chill cat. I found something to feed one and he bit me. The rest is fuzzy, luckily I have time to write this before I pass out," Baskett wrote in the description of the video.

According to UPI, Baskett posted a comment on Facebook saying that the blood seen in the video was simulated because the “bite didn’t even scratch me.” He also placed on the video a disclaimer that “feeding wild animals is dangerous and can result in getting bit and possibly contracting rabies.”

Maybe he should’ve taken his own warning before feeding the “trash panda” as UPI refers to it.
