The FBI might be the last place you'd expect to OK recreational marijuana use among its employees.

The Wall Street Journal highlights recent comments by Comey from a conference at the New York City Bar Association.

"I have to hire a great workforce to compete with those cybercriminals, and some of those kids want to smoke weed on the way to the interview."

 Currently, the FBI won't hire anyone who admits to having smoked marijuana in the last three years.

But as a writer for PolicyMic puts it: "Beggars can't be choosers." She says the discussion shows pot is working its way further into the mainstream.
