Pepperoni and pistol may seem like an odd mix for a pizza, but it worked out just fine for Steve Huckins.
Steve and his wife had ordered a pie from Pizza Hut and were delighted when the door bell rang.
But when they opened the door, they were shocked to see two Portland; Oregon cops Michael Filbert and Royce Curtiss holding their dinner.
"I said, 'whoa, whoa, whoa, I got to get a picture of this," Huckins told KOIN. "No one is going to believe Portland police delivering a pizza, he chuckled.
It all began when the driver delivering the pizza was involved in an injury accident on the way to Huckins’ house.
The restaurant called Steve to tell him what happened, then delivered a fresh pizza to the home.
As Steve and his wife were sitting down to eat, the officers arrived with the original order.
Steve said he took the picture because, "I wanted these officers to get a little recognition because these officers went above and beyond."
