Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton is speaking out about the disappearance of EgyptAir Flight 804.

The plane, traveling from Paris to Cairo, disappeared overnight Thursday with 66 passengers and crew on board.

Officials are now eyeing terrorism as the cause of the plane's disappearance. Clinton told CNN's Chris Cuomo in an exclusive interview that the incident "shines a very bright light on the threat that we face from organized terror groups."

“It reinforces the need for American leadership -- the kind of hard, steady leadership that only America can provide,” Clinton said.

Officials have said a terror attack was more likely than a mechanical failure, a conclusion Donald Trump came to in the early hours following the crash.

Greek rescue workers have found life vests and plastic floating in the Mediterranean Sea in the hours since the plane's disappearance, but they do not belong to the missing EgyptAir plane, according to The Associated Press.
