There are warrants out for three people in connection to the toppling of the controversial Silent Sam Confederate monument on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus Monday night.
The three people are not affiliated with the university and face charges of misdemeanor riot and misdemeanor defacing of a public monument.
The university is preparing for another possible rally Saturday, and it could be on campus at McCorkle Place.
The university urged the public not to attend.
