A burglary suspect was recently caught red-handed, thanks to technology.
Tulsa police say a homeowner was looking at surveillance footage on his cell phone when he noticed a thief inside his home. He then called police for help.
When officers arrived at the scene, Roy Pilkington was still inside the home. In fact, he was found hiding inside the attic.
As police were trying to arrest Pilkington, he fell through the attic floor. It was unclear at the time of the incident whether or not he broke anything, but he did require medical attention.
In addition to a burglary charge, Pilkington also had three fake driver's licenses on him, police said.
Additionally, Pilkington is wanted out of Wagoner County in connection with drug trafficking.
