Nearly an entire family has been charged with molesting a young girl for a decade.
According to the Virginia Pilot, Eric Jackson told a church elder that he and his five brothers had molested a girl. The Pilot reported he made the same admission to police shortly after.
Sheriff Eric Tilley said Jackson, along with his five brothers, Jon, Matthew, Nathaniel, Benjamin and Aaron were arrested for molesting the girl from the age of 4 until she turned 14.
WTKR reported that the men's parents, John and Nita Jackson, were also charged because police said they witnessed the abuse.
Police, according to WTKR, have been investigating the claims since 2012.
According to WVEC, police spoke to the victim this past March and she said she had been abused by the brothers.
