Midtown traffic will be congested in the mornings this weekend due to various races.

At 8 a.m. Saturday runners participating in Barb’s 5K will cross Piedmont Road at The Prado. Piedmont will be closed there for about three minutes.

Also on Saturday, the Inman Frosty 5K is set for 9 a.m. It begins and ends at Virginia Ave. and Ponce de Leon Place.

On Sunday, Jeff Galloway’s 13.1 half Marathon starts on Eleventh Street and Peachtree Walk, heading east on Eleventh. The race runs throughout Midtown, Old Fourth Ward, downtown, Inman Park, the Beltline and returns to Midtown. The race finishes just before Greystone in Piedmont Park.
