This year’s general election in Fairburn will determine three council seats. Each council member is considered at large, instead of representing a particular district. Incumbent city council members Ronald Alderman, Elizabeth Hurst and Marian Johnson are the three who will run in this year’s election.

Interested prospective candidates are required to pay a qualifying fee of $90, must be at least 21 years old, and a resident and qualified voter of Fairburn for 12 months immediately before the election.
