1. Suspect in Georgia cop shooting caught in Florida. Royheem Delshawn Deeds, 24, was captured north of Jacksonville, Fla., just before 3 a.m. Monday, nearly 30 hours after the deadly shooting of Eastman police Officer Tim Smith, authorities told Channel 2 Action News. [Read here.]

2. Kasim Reed rips into Georgia Republicans who won't denounce Donald Trump. Speaking on Al Sharpton's MSNBC show, the Atlanta Democrat  and mayor was asked if it was time for Republicans to confront Donald Trump. "We need to make it clear that if you don't withdraw your support or your endorsement of Don Trump, then history and the rest of us are really never going to forgive failing to act," said Reed.
