What is wrong with this picture: You want quality work from your municipal employees but you don't want to provide raises—merit, COLA or otherwise. Even if its six years since the last adjustments. Despite the extreme cases on TV, the majority of workers are dedicated to providing quality service.

The new Congress was sworn in today, be afraid, be very afraid.
So the Saudis can produce a barrel of oil for $10-20. Russia's cost is $25-35. Our cost…$50-75 per barrel. Something has to give if we want to continue our "oil independence."
APS now has a new board and a new superintendent. Changes and improvements are underway. If you attended your local meetings, you'd know this. I'm excited to see what's coming.
