Q: I saw where Steve Harvey featured twin girls on his show who had saved a man from drowning. I would like to know more about it.

— Eddie Webster, Dallas

A: Caitlyn and Michaela Milligan, of Rochester, Ill., helped pull 70-year-old Lamar Wagnon out of Lake Arrowhead near Nekoosa, Wis., last August. Caitlyn and Michaela, who were 15 at the time, noticed Wagnon, who is from Joliet, Ill., was struggling in the water after missing an inner tube when he jumped from a dock. "As I was trying to dog paddle backwards to get closer to the dock, I could see out of the corner of my eyes two young ladies swimming to where I'm at," Wagnon told the Lakeland Times of Minocqua, Wis. The twins pulled him to the dock. "Sometimes you dream about saving a person and that dream came true," Caitlyn told the paper. Caitlyn and Michaela were on "Steve Harvey" in November.

Q: Will congressional salaries be reduced now that the sequester has taken effect?

— Daniel S. Blumenthal, Atlanta

A: The 27th Amendment prohibits Congress from cutting its pay or giving itself a pay raise during the current term, according to USA Today. Congressional staffs face a possible 22 furlough days, which could result in a 20-percent pay cut, and potential layoffs as a result of the sequester, which went into effect on March 1. The sequester also doesn't affect the pay of President Barack Obama and other top government officials.
