Johnnie Zahler wants something done about the poor conditions of some roads.
“Clifton Church Road has needed repaving for a long time. Now it has become another DeKalb County street full of big holes that can damage our cars. In addition, Bouldercrest Road needs to be repaved from Clifton Church Road over the bridge that is over I-285 West. My neighbors and I will greatly appreciate your help in getting the repaving done,” Zahler wrote.

Mark Buhrke is grateful for the way we get roads fixed and added a few more to our list.
“Rockbridge Road, driving eastbound, just before Rays Road … the brand new blacktop literally turned to gravel in less than a week from being applied. I was a bit shocked actually. Further east on Rockbridge, between Hambrick and Rowland, there are several potholes that could break an axle,” he wrote.
Buhrke added that heading west on Rockbridge at Aberdeen, there is a small area where work was done that hasn't been finished but the big hole is just west of there, after passing Rowland. Toward the center line is a large hole and it's been there since December.
We sent the issues to DeKalb County and will let you know when they are fixed.

A reader thinks a broken sign post presents a danger.
“This broken sign post is a few paces from the playscape at Mary Scott Park on Briarcliff Road, near Shallowford Road. It is sharp and rusty; a child could fall on it,” the reader wrote.
We sent the issue to DeKalb County and will let you know when it is fixed.
