A reader has an issue with a lack of signage.

“The entrance ramp to Chastain Road, exit 3 off of I-575 North has no signage. There is a sign a half mile back but none at the exit ramp itself. Thanks for your help,” the reader wrote.

We sent the issue to the DOT and will let you know when we have an update.

In June we told you about Anne Palmer’s concern over a giant pothole on a busy road.

“There is a large hole in front of the Platinum Federal Credit Union on Mistletoe Road, which is just off of North Druid Hills Road. This hole constitutes yet another tire hazard,” she wrote.

We learned from county officials the hole had been fixed and they sent us a photo of their improvement.

Barb Tucker has an issue with foliage.

“The By Way in Druid Hills between Oxford Road and Lullwater Road is a very narrow street with absolutely zero shoulder space on either side. The hedges, shrubs, and plants along both sides of the street are overgrown and hang out into the street. If you stay in your narrow lane, the branches of these shrubs will scratch the side of your car, or poke the eye out of someone who happens to be riding on the passenger side with an open window,” Tucker wrote.

She said you have to cross the center yellow line to avoid scraping up against the shrubs and said it is very dangerous when cars are coming from the opposite direction, which they frequently are as this street gets a lot of traffic.

“Both sides of the entire length of these two blocks need to be significantly pruned well back from the road. It gets worse every day. Please help,” she added.

We sent her issue to the city and will let you know when the pruning starts.
