Sugar Hill is accepting applications for a poll manger and poll workers for the upcoming general municipal election Nov. 3 at the Sugar Hill Community Center.

Poll workers must be U.S. citizens, a resident of the county where working, 16 years of age or over, able to read, write and speak English, and have no prior felony convictions for at least 10 years. A poll officer is not eligible to run for public office and cannot hold a public office, other than a political party office, while serving as a poll worker.

Poll workers are compensated for their services and must be available day of election from 6 a.m. until the election is closed. All poll workers are required to attend training sessions the week before the election in the evening hours.
