The Stockbridge City Council will convene a hearing Monday to decide whether to remove council member Robin Buschman from office.

Buschman has been charged with violating the city charter by casting certain votes in her duties as a member of the Downtown Development Authority, which has been in litigation with the city for about a year. She is the only council member who also serves on the DDA.

Buschman released a statement disputing the charges which she said are purely political, and she said she would not resign from her post.
