Fayette County voters can begin casting their ballots regarding the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax referendum. Polls are open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday until March 17 at the Fayette County Administrative Complex in Fayetteville, the Peachtree City Library and Tyrone Town Hall.

No voting will be held March 20. All regular county polling places will be open 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on March 21. The SPLOST referendum will decide whether the county will implement a one-cent sales tax for six years to generate $141 million for specific road, stormwater, public safety and other projects throughout the county and its municipalities.
