A large portion of South Cobb Drive is re-opened following a crash late Monday night that knocked down wires, a Cobb police spokesman said.

The south Cobb thoroughfare was closed Monday night from Cobb Parkway to Fairground Street through the morning commute after a truck hit a telephone pole, which required extensive repair.
