Smyrna to consider rezoning, Google Fiber requests

The Smyrna City Council is expected to consider a rezoning and three special land use permits this month.

Pradera Group is seeking rezoning for moderate density residential at 1505, 1515, 1525, 1529, 1533 and 1537 Spring St. of portions of the Susan S. Stephens estate.

Google Fiber Georgia is requesting special land use permits to install three utility huts at 4201 North Cooper Lake Road, 2618 Powder Springs St. and 2825 Park Road.

Public hearings on these requests are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Oct. 19 in the City Hall Council Chambers, 2800 King St., Smyrna.
