The Smyrna License and Variance Board will hear a variance request to allow a daycare at 10 a.m. April 8 in council chambers, 2800 King St.
Carole Sneed has applied to open the daycare in general commercial zoning on .37 acres at 2826 Cobb Lane.
During the March 25 public hearing, Dr. Michael Kostas spoke about his concerns for the additional traffic that would be brought by the daycare.
With the car wash at the end of this lane, Kostas said the constant traffic already has caused repeated problems for his doctor’s office patients.
Sneed was not present for the hearing.
