The sister of a Florida murder suspect is also jailed and facing charges in an unrelated killing.

Jacksonville restaurant manager Lee Rodarte, 28, was arrested Saturday in the disappearance and killing last week of Bonefish Grill colleague Savannah Gold, 21. Police said Rodarte admitted to killing Gold, and led police to her body on Saturday.

Rodarte’s sister, Amber Camarillo, 26, is jailed in connection with a 2016 killing at a Jacksonville motel.

Camarillo allegedly shot and killed Raquel Lee Wallace, 32, last December at a Super 8 Motel after a disagreement over a car, police said. Motel surveillance video shows the two women talking. It also shows Camarillo firing at least two shots at Wallace.

Rodarte made a court appearance on Sunday and is charged with murder in Gold's death.

Six soldiers were honored, each receiving Meritorious Service Medals, Thursday for heroic actions responding to the shooting at Fort Stewart. “One of the things I can say unequivocally is that the fast action of these soldiers — under stress and under trauma and under fire — absolutely saved lives from being lost,” U.S. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll told reporters as the six soldiers stood near him Thursday. “They are everything that is good about this nation.” (Hyosub Shin/AJC)
