Shrek coming to West End -- next week

The premiere of “Shrek: The Final Chapter,” has been rescheduled for 8 p.m. June 4 at West End Park, 1128 Oak Street S.W.

The movie showing is hosted by Atlanta City councilmembers Cleta Winslow and Michael Julian Bond in conjunction with the Atlanta Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs.

The community is invited to bring folding chairs, blankets, and snacks to watch movies under the stars. In the event of rain, the movie will be shown June 5.
