Wellspring Living, a Fayette County-based group that works with survivors of the sex trafficking trade, is hosting a training session for Fayette County law enforcement officials on Friday between 9 a.m. and noon. Participants will learn how to detect and respond to signs of sexual exploitation in the community. It is the first training of its kind in Fayette. The session will be led by Camila Wright, the human trafficking prosecutor for the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office and Amanda Pritchett, senior investigator for the Crimes Against Women & Children unit of theInternet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Training will take place at The Bridge, 225 Willow Bend Rd. in Peachtree City.
