The police department in Sandy Springs is hosting a public safety night on Nov. 10, to update residents and businesses on its current initiatives.

The event begins at 6 p.m. at the Mount Vernon Presbyterian School on Mount Vernon Highway and will include updates from officers on recent statistics and events. A basketball game between the police department and school’s faculty begins at 7:30 p.m. at the school.

The event is free and open to the public.
