The first performance of the Woodstock Summer Concert Series, originally scheduled for Saturday, will not happen until July 31 "due to artist cancellations and protective measures resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic," according to a city announcement.

Another concert, on July 11, was nixed after headliner Christopher Cross contracted the virus and canceled his summer tour dates, the city said.

The latest Summer Concert Series lineup is: July 31, The Ultimate Queen Celebration starring Marc Martel; Aug. 8, Steep Canyon Rangers; Sept. 12, Black Jacket Symphony, an Eagles tribute band; and Oct. 30, Rumours, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band. A fifth concert in the series will be announced when details are available.

Concerts are free, rain or shine, and presented by the city of Woodstock, Carriage Kia Woodstock, and Woodstock Parks and Recreation. They take place at the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Amphitheater in downtown Woodstock. The opening act starts at 7:30 p.m., and the headliner takes the stage at 8:30 p.m. Information: https://bit.ly/2A6CsFt
