No action was taken by the Locust Grove City Council at its scheduled Feb. 10 regular meeting because there was not a quorum.

According to a statement from the city clerk, all items up for possible action will be on the next meeting agenda. That includes annexation and subsequent residential-agricultural rezoning for two adjoining 24-acre tracts on Davis Lake Road, along with resolutions regarding an agreement with the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission and outdoor contracts with three billboard companies for the 2020 calendar year. According to the city’s website, the meeting is “adjourned to Feb. 24,” which is the regular date for the monthly workshop meeting.

The next regular meeting after that is scheduled for March 9.
