The Fulton County Board of Education has settled on leadership for one of the district’s’ two newest elementary schools.

Adam Maroney, currently the principal of Alpharetta Elementary School, will become principal of the “Highway 9/West Roswell” school that’s currently the temporary home of Esther Jackson Elementary. When the newly-rebuilt Esther Jackson opens in August, its students will move back to the campus on Martin Road and the Highway 9 school will acquire a new name and student body.

Maroney has been at Alpharetta Elementary for four years, and served as assistant principal at New Prospect Elementary School before that.
