Tuesday’s runoff results will determine the new mayor and a new council member for Powder Springs.
Former Councilman Al Thurman and Councilman Chris Wizner are running for mayor.
In the Nov. 3 general election, Thurman received 42.52 percent or 551 votes to Wizner’s 36.81 percent or 477 votes with Alison Feliciano getting 20.6 percent or 267 votes and one write-in vote.
For At Large Post 2, the runoff will be between Henry L. Lust and Patricia A. Wisdom.
In the general election, Lust received 40.23 percent or 486 votes, Wisdom 35.35 percent or 427 votes, Ashanti Norton at 23.92 percent or 289 votes and six write-in votes.
Powder Springs residents may vote from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the George E. Ford Center, 4181 Atlanta St. behind the library, the Ron Anderson building, 3820 Macedonia Road or First Baptist Church Powder Springs, 4330 North Ave.
