A man and woman who were mowing the lawn over the weekend made a gruesome discovery, human remains.

It happened in Osteen, Florida, Sunday around 9:40 a.m., deputies said.

P.J. Lacette has a dog training business not far from where the body was found.

She said she knew something was wrong when she saw marked sheriff's office cruisers there.

"It's a very quiet area at this point choosing to think at this point somebody dumped it and ran, rather than it's a long term issue," said Lacette.

The deceased person has not yet been identified.

The Sheriff’s Office major case unit will be investigating and working to establish his or her identity.

No further information is available at this time.
